Meet the Team
KIZIE TOSI, CNM, APRN
Kizie began practicing as a board certified Nurse Midwife in the Fall of 2018 and has assisted many incredible local families to bring their babies earth side since then. Kizie became a nurse in the Spring of 2013, for 4 years she worked as a mental health nurse, empowering adults struggling with mental health issues through education and compassionate nursing care. She the received a Masters in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University with a degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife and APRN. Kizie is wife to Dayne, they are military transplants to the Emerald Coast. When not at a birth she can be found at the beach or spending time with her animals on her farm. Her heart is to give women their voice back in their pregnancy and birth experience by providing evidence-based care that is woman-led. As she continues to study, she hopes to bring light and decrease shame associated with infertility and women’s mental health struggles.
RACHAEL LYONS, RN, BSN, CLC,
BIRTH ASSISTANT
Rachael began serving as a Certified Lactation Consultant at Sage Wellness Co. in early 2022; she became a nurse in 2014 and worked as an LPN until she received her Associates in Nursing in 2019 and began serving the community as a Registered Nurse. Her background is in the skilled nursing care of geriatrics, pediatrics and rehabilitation. Her time as a pediatric home health nurse enhanced her compassion and ability to love and serve a family as a whole through compassionate nursing care. Rachael is a mama to 3 beautiful boys and naturally always on the go. She loves nature and all things farming and her favorite thing is to sit and read on her front porch. Rachael was born and raised here in Crestview and has a heart to serve Crestview and the surrounding counties. She has a special interest in holistic healthcare and is currently studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
MAE EDGE, LABOR & BIRTH DOULA, BIRTH ASSISTANT
Mae joined Sage Wellness Co. as a certified labor and birth doula with Madriella Doula Network, her birth philosophy is that every mother deserves the best opportunity to have the birth of her dreams. She is a Florida Panhandle native and the mother of two beautiful daughters. She found a passion for all things pregnancy & birth after her youngest daughter’s arrival, welcomed at home in 2022. She enjoys spending time on the river with her family and outside caring for her plants. As your doula, She strives to support and empower you, bringing that dream into reality. Mae continues her studies in birth related topics and hopes to come alongside Sage Wellness Co. to build a birth community that will support moms and families for years to come.
CASSI PSOTA, POSTPARTUM DOULA,
BIRTH ASSISTANT
Cassi is a certified postpartum doula with Madriella Doula Network; she joined Sage Wellness Co. in 2022 and stepped into her calling. Through her doula certification course she developed a passion for the postpartum period. Cassi has always had a passion for taking care of others. She served as a phlebotomist for 11 years, taking the time to ease anxieties, listen to each person in front of her and leave a lasting impression on each one’s soul. Cassi is a wife and mom to three adult children, two daughters and a son. Her heart is to support moms in the most challenging and exciting time of their lives. She desires to encourage and help educate them as they learn to care for their baby and themselves on this journey of motherhood.
KYLEE HUCKABA, BIRTH ASSISTANT
Kylee is a wife and passionate seeker of knowledge in natural and holistic medical care. She works part time as an EMT for Okaloosa County, serving our community with care and respect on the worst day of their life. She joined the Sage Wellness Co. team in 2023, working as a birth assistant for midwife Kizie. Her strength, skills and passion for the natural process of women’s bodies and birth make her an asset to each birth she attends. She is currently studying Nursing with the goal to study infertility and hormones. She maintains her certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation and participates in birth skills drills with the Sage Wellness Co. team.
AMY ABERCROMBIE, BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA, ADMIN ASSISTANT
Amy is an experienced birth doula with having assisted over 200 women and their families bring their babies into this world. In addition to being a doula, she has also offered breastfeeding knowledge and support to new mothers in postpartum. Amy and her husband, Jason, share 22 years of marriage and 6 children together. It was the birth of her third child, along with the care of a doula, that inspired her to become one as well. She is passionate about passing on that same love and dedication to other women, allowing them the glory of empowerment within their own birthing journeys. After a decade of living in rural Wyoming and being very limited in the ability to grow her career, Amy has settled along the Gulf Coast, and is now blessed with the opportunity to join Sage Wellness and return to her true calling.
